My father had a dream to make me go to greater heights. With strong determination and hard work, right after the graduation in humanities, I got admission into the Department of Journalism in one of the prestigious universities of Punjab, Punjabi University, Patiala in the year 2003.
It was the month of April, 2005 in university. We students all heard about a journalist coming to deliver a lecture in our department. I was very excited to hear the fellow because he was Muhammad Aslam Khan from Pakistan.
Most Indians have doubts regarding Pakistani people, believing that they are all hostile towards Indians. I was also the victim of that thinking. Yet I was eagerly awaiting the journalist who was going to deliver a lecture on journalism.
